Most bookkeeping, accounting and controller firms offer their services in the form of "time" (i.e., an hourly rate). This puts all the risk on clients if a particular task or project goes long. We don't believe in that system. Instead, we offer fixed monthly prices that you can budget with confidence. If a particular task or project goes long, that's our problem -- not yours.

Our prices are based on whether your nonprofit is subject to any audits*, the size of your annual operating budget, the volume of bookkeeping transactions, the number of employees, the complexity of the accounting, the degree of controller oversight required and any specialized reporting needs you may have. Below you will find fixed-price packages for "typical" client profiles and needs. However, if your requirements are different, please don't hesitate to contact us with your particulars so we can customize you a quote.

Larios  Financial

**The fixed prices quoted above cover the "typical" needs of most small nonprofits. However, you may require additional monthly services in specialty areas such as those listed below. If that's the case, don't hesitate to contact us for a customized quote:

  • You require additional accounting, oversight and financial reporting on a capital campaign;

  • You require additional accounting, tracking and evaluation of direct mail campaigns;

  • You are a fiscal sponsor of another nonprofit, and require tracking of those finances;

  • You require formal tracking of volunteers' time and work they perform (usually to comply with terms of a matching grant);

  • You require additional monthly non-GAAP fund accounting that must be segregated from your normal month-to-month accounting;

  • You do not operate wholly within your state (i.e., you have interstate or international programs and/or funding), and thus require specialized accounting and oversight;

  • You are subject to UBIT (Unrelated Business Income Taxes), and thus require additional level of accounting and oversight;

  • You sell products that require tracking of sales taxes, and thus require additional level of accounting and oversight;

  • You assemble and/or buy inventory for resale that requires tracking cost of goods sold and/or inventory management.

*Please note that small nonprofits could be subject to multiple audits, depending on the grantors -- and even to a federal A-133 audit. (You would be subject to this audit if you expend more than $750,000 a year in federal awards). Be aware that auditors can charge small nonprofits as much as $30,000 to audit their financials and inspect their A-133 compliance. Due to the enormous time commitment required to prepare, oversee and pass these audits, Larios Financial LLC is not able at this time to service (on a fixed-price basis) small nonprofits subject to more than 2 audits (1 State and 1 private) or an A-133 audit.
